Q: What artwork do I need for my postcards?
A: You will need two pieces of art-- one for the postcard front, the other for the postcard back. The postcard front will usually have an image and call to action, and the back will have specifics (your business location, product specials, et cetera). We print both sides in full color. On the postcard back, the lower right must be free of artwork and graphics as we use this space to print the card's address and postage. A sample is below; a template (with exact dimensions) is available during the ordering process.
Q: I have my art. How do I prepare it for upload?
A: Your art needs to be uploaded as a PDF, TIFF, JPEG, or EPS file. You can change your art's file type by selecting the "Save As . . . " option in the File menu of most graphics programs, then clicking the "Save As Type" drop down menu to an accepted graphic type. Your artwork should have a resolution of at least 300x300 dpi, and a CMYK color mode (RGB is not accepted). Please call us at 1-866-PETER-02 if you're uncertain about your formatting.
Q: What is a bleed? How should I plan for a bleed in my artwork?
A: A "bleed" means having your artwork go all the way to the very edge of the postcard; without incorporating a bleed, there will be a narrow white border around your card. To plan for a bleed, make your artwork .25 x .25 larger than your postcard size (if you're ordering a 4 x 6 postcard, upload art that is 4.25 x 6.25). We print the larger size, and cut the additional .25 off the edges, resulting in printing that goes to the very edge of the postcard.
Q: Do I get a proof of my uploaded postcard art?
A: You can immediately proof your design on our website, after you have designed your calendar, by clicking the “PDF Preview...” button. Please proof your own work carefully. It is easy to type in a bad address or phone number – trust us!

Q: What is the minimum order size?
A: Postcards are ordered by the 1000. The minimum order size is 1000.
Q: Can I split up a single order with different designs?
A: No, a single order has one design; to print multiple designs you will have to place additional orders. We need to make a new plate and set up the press for each batch of postcards.
Q: How does the mailing work? How do I choose who receives my postcards?
A: After you've uploaded your art and decided the quantity of postcards you would like, you will choose a mailing option. We can ship the postcards to you; mail them using your mailing list; or mail them using a list you design online. An overview of these options is available here. Q: What’s your guarantee?
A: Our guarantee is 100% Customer Satisfaction, or your money back. We are not responsible for typographical errors.
Q: Do you accept checks/money orders/purchase orders?
A: No, we do not currently accept checks, money orders, or purchase orders; major credit and debit cards and PayPal are the only valid forms of payment. We hope to support these payment methods in the near future.
Q: Will I receive a receipt or invoice?
A: Yes, your receipt and invoice are located under the details section of each specific order in the “Orders” tab. You also receive an email notification as well.
Q: How do I cancel an order?
A: You may be able to cancel an order after an order is placed and entered, but there is a minimum cancellation fee. Full rates apply if an order has already been printed. Call us at 866-PETER-02 as soon as possible.
Q: I forgot my password. What should I do?
A: If you forgot your password, click on “Login” and choose the “Forgot your password” box. Please enter your email address and we will send you a temporary password, via email. You can always change your password again by going to “My Profile”
